On Wednesday this week we welcome three reviewers from the local authority for our SEND review. I am delighted to share that the feedback given at the end of the day, following a very thorough review of all aspects of our SEND provision, including lesson visits, meeting staff, students, parents and our SEND Governor Matt, was very positive indeed!
We await the final report, but for now, my thanks to everyone who was directly involved in the review, those who supported in the preparations and on the day, and to all staff for the important part you each have in ensuring SRS is a fully inclusive, nurturing and ambitious school for all of our learners.
The review coincided with the launch of our SRS Inclusion Pledge which I am delighted to share with our students and families today.
The pledge outlines the school’s commitment, across all stakeholders and year groups, from EYFS to Year 13, to promote and ensure the highest standards of practice and inclusion.
We are all members of our school community, and so I ask parents to reflect on our school Inclusion Pledge with your children and support them to play their part in ensuring the continued inclusive, nurturing and ambitious learning environment of our school for all who are a part of our school community.
Have a great weekend.
