This year many of our Year 12 students have taken part in First Give, a programme which aims to help young people use their time and talents to help their local community.
The students have worked hard to research and select a number of local charities and fundraise for these through bake sales, trainer days and a variety of other methods.
Overall, the students raised almost £1500 for Samaritans, Mind-Havering, Osborne Partnership and Karen Trust.
On Wednesday, the final took place to determine which group would win £1000 for their chosen charity. The students presented to a panel of judges and a First Give representative and Samaritans came out on top.
Well done to all who took part, your fundraising efforts are admirable.
