All of us at The Sydney Russell School are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen

Today The Sydney Russell School will be paying tribute to Her Majesty the Queen.  

Having had the great honour of welcoming Her Majesty to Sydney Russell School in 2015, as part of the borough’s 50^th anniversary, we are fortunate as a school to have had the very personal experience of her warmth, kindness and commitment to her service.  

Her Majesty’s death is a hugely significant event in the history of our country and its monarchical constitution. Her reign of 70 years enabled her to be a constant for so many, and her sense of duty and service was remarkable.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family at this time.
