Who is responsible for the development of Literacy?
All teachers are responsible for the development of literacy skills. They are expected to do this in two ways: by modelling good practice themselves and insisting on high standards of presentation, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Members of the English Department will provide guidance for colleagues, with one member of the department designated as the lead for literacy. In 2016-17, this is Miss Ogrodnik.
