This week we have seen the children really getting in the swing of their ‘remote learning’ and we have all been very impressed with the effort they are putting in; from art work to phonics, geography to maths, they have been demonstrating their knowledge, skills and creativity throughout the week.
You can examples of ‘outstanding’ learning in our WOW work section. Remote learning sometimes has its challenges and one of those can be establishing a good routine.
We have put some guidance on the website to support you in setting up daily routines if this is something that has been tricky for you this week. With good routines in place the children will have some of the structures they are used to when they are at school too, and this familiarity will hopefully be reassuring for them, and you.
If you would like any support with your child’s ways of working remotely please contact their class teacher or email office@sydneyrussellschool.com so that we can work with you to make these difficult circumstances as positive and beneficial for the children as possible.
Wishing you and your families a restful weekend.
