CENTAUR

“Dream to believe. Believe to succeed.”

The mythical creature, the Centaur, is known for its dominant physique of half man and half horse. It maintains the technical mind of man and exudes the strength and speed of the horse. The Centaur is often depicted with a bow and arrow; the merciless and prevailing side of the centaur which allows it to stand above any opposition. The Centaur is also sometimes depicted holding a harp, representing its elegance and grace. The juxtaposition of these two characteristics enables the Centaur to adapt to any challenge it comes face to face with, the same way our team adapts quickly to any house challenge thrown our way in order to prosper.

Everyone wants to succeed but not everyone knows how to. The secret to success lies within the team of Centaur. It all begins with a dream, an idea or a vision with the capability to expand and grow into something great. However, it doesn’t stop there. As a team we have to believe in the reality a dream can withhold. We have to believe in the true lengths our team are able to go to. We have to believe in the skills our team possess in order to flourish.

The difference between Centaur and the rest of the houses, which you may have noticed, is that girl power runs through the driving force of our team. All our captains are girls, mentored by the brilliant Ms Watling.  This makes our team unique and independent however doesn’t undermine or minimise the skill and importance of all members in our team.
We are a team. A motivated, ambitious and dedicated team. Not one person is more or less important than the other. This is a battle and by the end shall be our victory.
