After a busy 8 weeks to start the academic year, I know that we are all looking forward to a much needed break. I would like to congratulate our students on a fantastic start to the year, particularly our learners in EYFS, Year 7 and Year 12 who have settled into SRS life so smoothly.
Today we had Zia, the school therapy dog, with us for an end of half-term celebration. Zia spent the day with groups of students and staff across the primary and secondary sites, treated to lots of cuddles and games to earn her treats! We hope to see Zia in school more regularly – it’s amazing to see the impact she has on some of our students. You can see some photos of her day below.
The break gives much needed time for rest and relaxation, with a healthy balance of time for revision for those in key exam year groups. Whatever you are doing, we will look forward to seeing you back in school, refreshed and recharged, at normal times on Tuesday 4th November.
Have a great holiday!
Mrs Cross
