Re: Update and New start of term arrangements.

I continue to be pleased with how our young people are responding to the Covid protocols in place. It is only through us all working together that we are able to operate safely and maintain a happy, positive learning environment.
From January we will continue with current arrangements at the primary but at the secondary we will return to normal start and finish times: 8:40-15:00 for years 7 to 13

The cold weather is upon us. It is important to maintain good ventilation throughout the school so we ask that children are prepared for this. We recommend the wearing of additional layers and that students come to school with a coat. This will help them remain comfortable if the conditions are chilly Students in the secondary phase are required to wear face masks when moving around inside the school buildings and I wish to remind parents that it is imperative that children who are unwell should not be sent to school. We must maintain a school environment that is as Covid safe as possible.
