Re: School Closure for Christmas

Yesterday the Schools Minister, Nick Gibbs, announced that schools will be able to designate Friday 18th December as a training day. School would be closed to children and staff would be able to work from home. This would give staff and students alike a ‘clear’ six days before Christmas Eve, especially important for those of us that will be travelling to visit family and friends over the Christmas period.

Given this possibility I am writing to inform you that our last day of term will now be Thursday 17th December 2020 and Friday’s arrangements will be moved back a day.

I look forward to working with you all again in the New Year. School will re-open on January 4th.
