Over the past year, the SRS Racing Girls team have been taking part in the Formula E Girls on Track and Greenpower programmes - initiatives designed to open doors for young people, especially girls from less advantaged backgrounds, to explore the exciting world of STEM and sustainable motorsport.
On Saturday 13 September 2025, all that hard work came to life as they took to the track to compete against schools and colleges from across the region. SRS Racing, sponsored by Local London Careers Hub East. The Careers and Enterprise Company, the UK Government and our very own SYD Media, successfully passed scrutineering and completed the race.
A huge thank you to Formula E, Girls on Track, Greenpower, Local London Careers Hub East and The Careers and Enterprise Company for making opportunities like this possible - inspiring young minds to think big, aim high, and drive change toward a cleaner, greener future. SRS Racing is now open to boys and girls from more year groups as part of our Global Citizenship and Careers Personal Development pillars.
