I would like to thank the many families who joined us for our 3rd annual Iftar event last Friday - it was a very special evening bringing students, staff and families together in this shared cultural celebration.
Our student leadership team played a significant role in the success of the evening, and I would like to thank Zeeshan, Student Principal, and his team for all their work and support to ensure it was such a successful evening.
Today, students across the secondary site have had a fantastic opportunity to meet prospective employers and find out more about future pathways through our Careers Fair. This popular event in our Careers curriculum calendar enables students to have meaningful discussions with representatives from a wide range of careers fields, supporting them to make informed decisions about their next steps. My thanks to Ms Maggs and the whole PD team for their work to bring this important event together.
Amongst the many activities ad events that have taken place this week, we have also had Red Nose Day fun and our primary children had a great day on Wednesday bringing a female family member to school.
As we head into the weekend, we think about and celebrate the brilliant women in our lives as we mark Mothering Sunday. With International Women's Day celebrated last Sunday, it is a timely reminder of the love, care, guidance, support and inspiration we receive from the many women around us - our mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, teachers, coaches, mentors...and so many more. Thank you for all you do to help us be the best versions of ourselves.
Have a wonderful weekend.
