To our students who are starting or continuing their exams this week - either SATs, GCSE or A Level, good luck!
We know you will make us proud, and we hope you make yourselves proud too!

Here are our top 5 tips for exam preparation:
- Make a simple study plan
Break subjects into smaller tasks and spread them across the week.
- Use active recall
Test yourself with flashcards, quizzes, or practice questions instead of just rereading notes.
- Take regular breaks
Try 25–30 minute study sessions with short breaks to stay focused and avoid burnout.
- Sleep matters
A good night’s sleep helps memory and concentration way more than last-minute cramming.
- Look after your health
Drink water, eat proper meals, and move around a bit - your brain works better when your body does too.
Exams can also be stressful, or cause anxiety. You can find out ways of coping with this on our Help and Advice page.
