The first Year 11 Parents’ Evening will be taking place on Thursday 17th September 2026. The evening will start at 4:30pm and will finish at 7:00pm. The evening will be face-to-face.
Attendance at this event is extremely important. It provides the opportunity to discuss your child's end-of-Year 10 results with their subject teachers, celebrate areas of strength and, most importantly, identify the specific actions needed to maximise progress before the Year 11 mock examinations.
This will be the final opportunity to meet with class teachers before the mock examination period. The next formal opportunity to discuss progress will be after the mock results are published, by which point there will be far less time to address any gaps in knowledge or understanding.
As part of our commitment to supporting every student to achieve their full potential, some parents/carers may also be invited to meet with a member of the Senior Leadership Team during the evening. This may be where a student has been identified as not currently making the expected progress in one or more subjects. The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss any areas of concern and agree appropriate strategies for improvement. If we would like you to attend an SLT meeting, you will be informed on the day.
Appointments for this evening will be made through SchoolCloud. Subject teachers will prioritise those students with an appointment. Please also note that some appointment slots may overrun slightly – teachers will try to run to time as best they can.
Booking will open on Tuesday 8th September at 4pm via SchoolCloud.
