Next week is our Heritage Week, where we invite all students to celebrate the diversity of their heritage. Heritage Day (formerly known as Culture Day) is an important day for all of us at Sydney Russell. We are lucky enough to have students from all over the globe, and this day is a celebration of each and every one of the many cultures we share here.
NEXT WEEK
There will be singing, music and dance performances both breaks on Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th - we invite all students to meet us at Democracy Wall to watch.
Heritage Day - Thursday 26th
- Our Primary Year 3,4 and 5 students have been invited to our Secondary site to watch the performances from earlier in the week, and take part in Easter biscuit decorating.
- During Break 1, we will have a Fashion Show at Democracy Wall - any student is invited to get involved and show off their Heritage Dress!
- After school at 3:10pm, our Primary School will be hosting a Heritage Day Fair - where you will be able to buy handmade crafts and tasty treats - all made by our students.
This event is cash only.

We invite all students to express their Heritage by wearing Heritage Dress on Thursday 26th March. Below is a guide with inspiration on what you can wear.
You must have collected a ticket from Ms Stafford to participate in Heritage Dress.
