Today has seen a fantastic Culture and Coronation commemoration day brighten our school. Thanks to all who have made it such a special occasion and to all our students who have participated in the activities at break times and by wearing cultural dress.

To commemorate the coronation, over the coming weeks we will be planting several trees which flower red, white and blue, and students have received a commemorative badge. We encourage you to talk to your child about the significance of the coronation and it’s place in our British history and culture.

Next week sees the start of SATs for Year 6 and the final taught lessons for students in Year 11 and Year 13. We wish you all every success in your assessments and exams – good luck!

Wishing you all a very happy bank holiday weekend. We will return at normal school times on Tuesday 9th May.
