I would like to start be congratulating our Year 6 students who have work incredibly hard this week in completing their SATs assessments. They have shown immense resilience and have worked hard throughout to give the best of themselves – they should be very proud of themselves and we are very proud of them. It was wonderful to see them enjoy pizza and a film this afternoon as a treat…your brilliant work will continue on Monday.

My thanks to our primary team who have supported the children amazingly throughout this week, and in the many years and months leading up to it. Thank you for everything you do to enable our young people to shine.

Today marks the final taught lessons for our students in Year 11 and Year 13, with GCSE and A Level exams beginning next week. We are certain that your years of hard work and commitment to your learning journey will pay off – we wish you every success. Again, my thanks to all the teachers and support staff who have helped our Year 11 and Year 13 students prepare and be ready for this important stage in their education – your work is invaluable.
