Dear Parents/Guardians,
Measles cases have been rising in London. There is no cure and vaccination is the only protection against becoming seriously unwell.
You have to check child’s health record (red book) to see if are up to date on all their routine immunisations or contact their GP to find out.
Please follow this link to book MMR vaccination over half-term in our community clinics and bring your red book on the day.
Protect your children against measles with the MMR vaccine | London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (lbbd.gov.uk) or contact your GP.
This video explains more about the MMR vaccine and why it is so important to make sure your child is protected against becoming seriously ill.
If you would like to attend a clinic for Flu vaccination, please either email at barkinganddagenham@v-uk.co.uk or call on 0203 343 2400 OPT 1.
