Dear Year 12 and 13 Parents, 

I hope this message finds you well. 

We are excited to invite you to a special Degree Apprenticeship Information Evening on Thursday 20th November 2025, from 5:30pm to 7pm at The Sydney Russell School. This event is designed to provide valuable insights into Degree apprenticeships, which are becoming an increasingly popular and attractive option for students after they complete their A-levels. We understand that knowledge about degree apprenticeships may be limited, so we aim to provide some valuable information to help educate and inform you about this pathway. 

The evening will be open to both students and parents, offering a great opportunity to explore the benefits and structure of degree apprenticeships. We hope to have some of our alumni, who are currently enrolled in various degree apprenticeship programmes present at the event. They will share their first-hand experiences, offer insights into their roles, and discuss the practical benefits of combining work and study through this pathway. 

We understand that planning for life after school can be both exciting and challenging, and we hope this evening will help guide you and your child in making informed decisions about their future. 

We look forward to welcoming you on the 20th November for what promises to be an informative and engaging evening.
