During the Spring Term, Year 9 students will have the opportunity to attend taster sessions to gain more insight into their potential GCSE options. To support their decision-making process, a preference evening will be held, where the Principal, members of the Senior Leadership Team, Careers Advisor, and the Head of Year 9 will be available to provide guidance and advice to individual students.
When choosing their subjects, students should prioritise selecting those in which they have the potential to achieve high GCSE grades. Additionally, they should consider their future pathways and career plans. These factors can be discussed in detail at the preference evening. Invitations and further information regarding the event will be provided closer to the date.
