This week we have welcomed children who are looking forward to joining Sydney Russell School in September, with Stay & Play for our incoming EYFS children, and Transition days for children joining Year 7. Each of these have given children an important opportunity to become familiar with their new school setting, to meet key staff and hopefully start to look forward to their start in September. My thanks to all the staff and students who supported the smooth running of these days – it is much appreciated.

This week our SEND team hosted a peer review through Challenge Partners, with four visitors from different settings learning about our ways of working and supporting our reflections on the next steps of development. My thanks to Ms Watling, Ms Begum, the wider SEND team, teachers and LSAs for their contribution to such a positive day.
