Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day Programme Cover Design Competition
The Daggers Trust is pleased to announce that this year’s Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day Programme Cover Design Competition is now open. Children in Key Stages 1-3, attending any of the schools in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham can participate. The Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day is an annual event which this year takes place on Saturday 15th March, when the Daggers are playing Tamworth FC in the Vanarama National League, kicking off at 3pm. Events begin in the car park from 1pm onwards and traditionally this day sees our biggest crowd of the season.
The winner of the competition will receive 4 VIP tickets for them and their family to attend the game, enjoy the pre-match hospitality meal, meet the players, be presented with both a framed copy and an autographed copy of the matchday programme, in addition to their design appearing on the front cover of the programme.
There will be free tickets and other prizes for the next 5 runners up, including a signed shirt, and autographed footballs. The top ten designs will feature in the programme.
The entries must relate to the word ‘DIVERSITY’, be in colour and fit within the attached template, measuring no more than 14.5cm (width) x 17cm (Height).
The winning designs will be chosen by the Trust, and schools will be informed of the results at least one week before the day of the match.
Entries must be submitted before noon on Wednesday 26th February 2025. Original copies can be posted or delivered to the stadium. Good resolution electronic copies can be sent to trust@daggers.co.uk We would suggest the use of ‘WeTransfer’, or similar, to submit a large number of entries.
