On Wednesday evening, I had the pleasure of attending the Jack Petchey Awards ceremony in Ilford, during which a number of Sydney Russell students and staff were recognised for their personal growth, contribution and commitment across a range of categories of recognition. I would like to congratulate all our award winners (more details below) and commend them for their hard work and efforts.

I would like to give a particular mention to Mr Hill who, for years, has ensured our young people are championed and recognised in receiving this prestigious award.

I look forward to welcoming many families for tonight’s Grand Iftar event – thank you for your continued support of our school community events, and thanks to the many SRS staff who work hard to bring this event together.
