We begin this week’s newsletter with a big shout out to Year 6 who completed their SATs in style this week – they were brilliantly focused, came in ready each day to do their best and showed great maturity throughout the week – well done Year 6! We hope you enjoyed a slightly more relaxed day today as a reward for all your hard work!

It goes without saying that a huge thanks goes to all our Year 6 teachers, LSAs and wider primary staff team for their support for our Year 6 pupils throughout – it has been a big team effort and the staff support, as always, is much appreciated.

Another shout out goes to our Year 11 and Year 13 students who have navigated a big week of exams and have conducted themselves incredibly well – keep up your brilliant work, it will pay off.

We have spent time this week in school joining the national campaign in thinking about Mental Health Awareness. It is important that all of our young people area aware of their mental health, take time to rest and relax, particularly during stressful period like exams , and seek support when they need it – for more guidance on this please go to our website or speak to your child’s class teacher, form tutor or Head of Year for support.

Wishing you all a restful weekend.

Mrs Cross
