Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to invite you to our Post-16 Options Information Evening on Thursday 27th November from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
This event is an important opportunity for parents and carers to gain a clear understanding of the next steps for students as they begin to consider their options after Year 11.
During the evening, we will provide key information about:
• The application process for sixth forms and colleges
• Information on apprenticeships and T-levels
• How to make the most of open days
• What students should be considering when choosing their post-16 pathway
• How to support your child with exam preparation in the lead-up to GCSEs
• What happens after GCSE results day, including enrolment and transition support
Making informed decisions at this stage is crucial, and we want to ensure that both students and families feel confident and well-prepared. The Careers Team will be available to answer questions and offer guidance on the range of academic and vocational options available. There will be an opportunity for Q&A, please have your questions ready.
While we appreciate that Parents’ Evening is scheduled two weeks prior, we believe this information session is equally essential and timely to ensure families are well-informed before January. We strongly encourage all Year 11 parents and carers to attend, as your support and engagement are crucial in helping your child make informed and confident decisions about their future.

We look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
Best wishes,
