It has been another busy week as we get closer to the end of term.
Thank you to the many parents who joined us on Tuesday evening for our Winter Showcase – an evening showcasing and celebrating the exceptional talent of our students. Congratulations to all who took part, and thank you to the team of staff who supported the children to prepare and made it such a successful evening.
A huge congratulations to our children in Reception classes Maple, Cherry and Willow, who performed brilliantly in their nativity productions this week – after just 14 weeks of school, we are incredibly proud of your achievements, well done!
As mock exams are now underway for our Year 11 students, we wish them the very best as they continue their hard work and focus for these important stages of preparations ahead of their final exams. Mock exams will continue after the holidays so it is important students start planning for the break, ensuring they keep a good balance of study and rest, fun and family time. If parents have any queries on how best to support at this time, please contact us.
A final reminder of festive dates for next week:
Tuesday 16th December – Secondary Christmas market – both break times for students
Friday 19th December – last day of term – early finish at 11.45am (primary)/11.30am (secondary) to start the Christmas holidays
(Apologies for the typo in last week’s newsletter – primary will finish at 11.45am).
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Cross
