Last Saturday a group of Year 10 and 12 High Achievers took part in the East London heat of the Bar Mock trials at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

The students prepared by learning about the workings of a court, studying a criminal case and acting as barristers, witnesses and other court staff to make a case against other school teams.

After taking part in four trials over the course of the day, the senior judges decided the winners. The school already has a history of success in the competition and the students were successful again! They won the regional heat and will attend the national final in Cardiff in March!

Congratulations to all the students listed below who were involved in the Mock Trails. The win is a testament to their hard work in the run up to the competition. A special thanks goes to Ms Burd and Mr Roche who supported the students in the process and accompanied the students to the event.
