Dear Parent/Guardian,

I am writing to remind you that the first Year 11 Parents’ Evening will be on Thursday 22nd November 2018. The evening will run from 4.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

The appointments should be made by your son/daughter with their subject teachers. Please allow 5 minutes moving time between appointments. This is a crucial evening where you have the opportunity to discuss the progress your child is making in their GCSEs.

You will also be given a copy of the results of your child’s most recent tracking assessments to inform these conversations. These assessments were sat just before October half-term and so will be able to provide an accurate picture of how they are progressing.

Subject staff, senior leaders, our Deputy Head of Year and I will all be there to answer any queries you have about your son/daughter’s progress.

There is a timetable attached to this letter for your son/daughter to make appointments with staff.

Please complete the pro-forma below and return it to your child’s form tutor by Friday 9th November.

I’d also like to remind you that there will be a second Year 11 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 7th March 2019 after the mock examinations.
