Dear Parents and Carers,

I am pleased to be able to inform you that we completed the Lateral Flow Covid tests for 98% of our year 12 and 13 students today. The process was very efficient and was completed well within the allocated time slot. Our year 12 and 13 students will start school on Monday and it will be a normal school day for them. We ask that they continue to wear face masks and that this extends to lessons.

We look forward to welcoming the rest of the school back at the times allocated in my previous letter. I am confident that the testing process will run smoothly and normality will soon be resumed.

As normal school resumes the start and end time for all students will be 8:40 to 3pm. What will be different however is the entrances and exits points as seen below:

Year 7 and 8 will enter and leave via the Atrium
Year 9 and 10 will enter and leave via the Car Park Exit Gate
Year 11, 12 and 13 will enter and leave via the Green Gates on the Kingsley side.

School will be open daily to all students from 8:15 and the free breakfast service will be available from Tuesday.

Finally can I remind you that your son/daughter will need to wear their PE kit to school on the days of their scheduled practical PE lesson as we are still unable to offer changing facilities due to Covid restrictions.

I look forward to reopening our gates to our young people .

Have a good weekend
