Thank you to all the children, staff and families who supported our fundraising for Children in Need today. Your generous donations for ‘Jazz up your hair’ have enabled us all to raise money for this special organisation. If you are watching the programme on BBC 1 tonight, as we see the grand total appear on the screen we will all know that we have played our part, no matter how much – thank you.

This week has also seen our attention focus on the importance of kindness and friendship as we mark Anti-bullying week.

Well done to all the children for their thoughtful engagement with the activities and discussions which centred on the steps we can all take to say “stop” if we see, hear or experience bullying behaviour.

Further to my update mid-week, we are pleased to have seen a more stabilised rate of positive cases in the latter part of this week however we continue to monitor this closely on a daily basis.

We ask parents to continue to ensure twice weekly lateral flow testing continues at home for secondary age children. Please continue to notify us of any Covid-related absence by calling 0203 959 9900 and selecting option 9. We thank you for your continued support. Have a great weekend.

Mrs Cross
