Welcome to The Sydney Russell School newsletter

I hope you all had a good half-term break and feel re-charged and ready for the half-term ahead. Across the school our students are working hard at this important time of the year and we appreciate all the support you are able to give at home in helping them to keep motivated and focused on achieving their goals.

As the world is coming to terms with the escalated situation in Ukraine, we encourage you to watch/listen to/read the news with your children and allow them to ask questions or express worries and concerns they might have and reassuring them. Our thoughts are with the families who are directly affected at this time.

In school we continue to reassure children about their safety and this is a focus of our themed week next week. We also have World Book Day to look forward to – see below for more details.
