Welcome to The Sydney Russell School newsletter

This half-term has whizzed by and our students will feel ready for a break, having worked hard for the last six weeks. In assemblies this half-term, I spoke to students about being the best versions of themselves; setting their goals and striving towards them, not letting any barriers stop them from achieving their very best. I have seen so many examples of determination, resilience and high personal standards amongst our students over the course of this half-term – well done for rising to your own challenges, keep it up!

For those who are sitting GCSE and A Level exams, next week will be a welcome opportunity to focus on revision and preparing for the final few weeks of exams. We hope you have a productive week, with time to rest built into your plans.

Here is this half-term’s episode of SYD TV: https://youtu.be/ ImAvQqpYi1c

Wishing you all a lovely half-term holiday and we look forward to seeing you on Monday 6th June at normal school times.

Mrs Cross
