Across the school we have dedicated time this week to reflect on the historic events which are taking place around us, with the focal point of the Queen’s funeral being on Monday. Assemblies have helped the children understand the significance of the Queen’s reign and the changes we are likely to see in our day- to-day lives. Today our globe was decorated with hundreds of messages from the children giving thanks to the Queen and recognising her phenomenal reign. We encourage the children to engage with the news over the coming days as we commemorate the life of Britain’s longest reigning monarch.

A reminder that school is closed on Monday 19th September and will be open at the normal times on Tuesday 20th September.
