Our students are encouraged to be their own learning coach. We develop their logical and rational skills and help them know themselves as learners
  • Pace & Challenge
This is at the heart of everything we do at Sydney Russell. Our learners ask questions, make connections and explore possibilities. We strive to challenge and maximise the potential of every individual child.
  • Ambition
We look to broaden horizons. Our students are introduced to the wider world and a whole range of different experiences. They are given a window through which to envisage future opportunities
  • Listening
Listening is a skill. Our students are encouraged to listen closely to what others are really saying and contribute to their learning.
  • Ofsted
"Teachers have high expectations of students, and the students live up to these expectations"
  • Questioning
At Sydney Russell you are encouraged to ask questions of yourself and others. We want our students to explore below the surface of things.

Our Year 7 and 8 House Captains lead a team building event at the Primary this week. Teams included Year 2, 4 and 6, and gave them a taste of what being a HC in SRS Secondary might be like! There were 6 rounds of logic, speed, dexterity and team working challenges. pic.twitter.com/fORIAspcUk
