I would like to start by congratulating the students who took part in the production of Brokenville which was performed on Wednesday and Thursday this week. It was a very polished performance which shone a light on our students’ creativity and imagination. Huge thanks to Mr Edmunds and staff who supported him in preparing the students for this production – a resounding success.
We’ve had a very successful charitable event for Macmillan Cancer Research today, with the primary children arranging a cake sale which raised £1178.90 for this important charity. Thanks to Ms Bromfield and our primary children who worked hard to make this event such a success.
Today is National LSA day, a special day to recognise the important work of our LSAs. Children across the school have taken time to thank our LSAs for the help and support they give them. I would like to express my thanks for the hard work and dedication of our LSA team, who make such a difference to the young people they work with and the class teachers they support.
Finally, secondary parents are reminded of the early closure of the secondary site next Friday 6th October (12.30pm) due to staff training (the primary day will finish at 3pm as usual).
Have a good weekend.
Mrs Cross
