On Wednesday we hosted two visiting school leaders as part of our Challenge Partners Extending Leading Practice programme. Our visitors, who spent the day at the secondary site, could not have been more complimentary of the school, our students and staff, and the great work going on to enable our students to achieve their very best.

I take this opportunity to again express my thanks to the brilliant team of staff across the whole school who make what we do possible, and credit goes to our students and the support you give as parents to ensure we achieve our shared goals for their academic and personal success together.

This week our GCSE exams got underway with students sitting exams in MFL (speaking), Art, Photography and IT . Our Year 11 students have shown their focus and determination to do their best from the very beginning and we know that this will continue over the weeks to come – we wish you all every success.
