On Wednesday this week we welcomed our governors into school. They spent the day reviewing our action plans, discussing school improvement work with leaders as well as meeting staff, students and parents.

Governors where very impressed by what they saw and heard; they can see the work that is going on to drive the school to be the best it can be, and they can see the positive impact this is having on students’ engagement in their learning, their progress and their enjoyment of school life.

My thanks to all our staff for their continued hard work to support our students to achieve their very best. My thanks to you, parents, for your commitment to working with us to best support your child, and an important commendation for our students, who are showing us every day how much they want to learn, progress and be the best version of themselves – you are a credit to yourselves.

Have a good weekend.

Mrs Cross
