UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT (PRIMARY)

Trousers or Skirt – Black Trousers should be of a straight ‘classic’ cut and be full-length.  Skirts should be slightly flared or pleated and should be knee-length.  (Denim, corduroy or patterned materials is not allowed.  Very narrow-cut or very wide-cut trousers or skirts are forbidden, as are culottes, leggings, jiggling bottoms etc.)

School Polo Shirt School polo shirts are compulsory.  Any undergarments must NOT be visible.  All polo shirts must have the embroidered school crest.  No other emblem or logo is allowed.  The polo shirt can only be obtained from the school supplier.

School Jumper / Cardigan School jumpers are not compulsory.  Only the official school jumper/cardigan may be worn.  They are only obtainable from the school supplier.

Socks They are to be black or white.  If the girls wish to wear tights they must be plain black, white or (for sheet tights) skin coloured.

Shoes – As of 1st January 2015, only school shoes which are formal looking, flat, and leather/leather-like will be permitted.  Black, flat shoes of a plain design (preferably laced). Sling or open backed shoes should not be worn. (Partly coloured footwear is not allowed). Trainers are not allowed. Students without the correct footwear will be required to wear plimsolls in school.

Outdoor Coat Preferably black and it should be suitable for school and in keeping with the school uniform.  No other jacket, jumper, hooded top or cardigan may be worn in school instead of an outdoor coat.

Jewellery The only items of jewellery which are allowed are one set of small studded earrings (but not for P.E.) and one inexpensive wrist watch.

Make-Up Make-up is NOT allowed, this includes nail varnish and inappropriate headwear such as large bows and any other item that is not for a protective purpose.

Uniform Costs School uniform is compulsory.  You can purchase uniform items at the front reception every Wednesday from 3pm – 4pm or you can visit the following website UNIFORM Direct and proceed with your order.
